The release of the band’s new Dead Men’s Clothes EP is almost upon us: we’re just waiting for the discs to come back from the presses, but we simply couldn’t wait to share our doubtful genius with you all. So here’s a preview of the opening track on the EP – ‘The Hermit’. Hope you enjoy it, please feel free to share social media etc.

In fact we’ve been suitably impressed by the number of you who’ve been in touch asking when the EP will be available to buy. It’s at the presses right now, and we hope to be able to ship physical copies in a matter of weeks.

If you cannot wait to get your mitts on a CD or vinyl copy, then the entire EP will be available on digital download even sooner – keep checking here or follow us on Facebook / Twitter for announcements!

It’s official, we’re back! A packed Blueberry in Norwich bore witness on 8th August 2015 to the return of The Phantom Cowboys to the live stage.

If you missed it, here’s a terrific video of the band’s rendition of their famous ‘(One Last Drink at) The Club Cruella’, title track from their cult classic album, Down & Out At The Club Cruella.

Phantom Cowboys at The Cat’s Meow – 27th November 2015

The Phantom Cowboys have announced a new concert date at The Cat’s Meow swing night at The Canary Social Club, Thorpe Road, Norwich on Friday 27th 2015.

The band will be unveiling new material as well as playing favourites from their cult classic album, Down and Out at The Club Cruella.

The Cat’s Meow is a monthly swing, jump jive and rhythm & blues club run by former UK Lindy Hop Champion, Robert Austin.

The Phantom Cowboys said “At first glance we may seem an odd choice for a dance evening, but we’ve always been heavily influenced by early swing musicians like Count Basie and Jelly Roll Morton.

“We’re not exactly a swing band, but we’ll be playing some new stuff and some fun old covers. We can’t promise anything, but we’ll do our best to keep it danceable!”

The night will also include DJ’s and a lindy hop lesson. Details and tickets will be available soon from the Norwich Swing Cats website.
